Solution: At the start of the pandemic, a senior Harquebus Consultant took charge of the UK Threat Analysis Pillar within the Department for Health and Social Care’s vaccine program.
Result: With the responsibility of spearheading the team, they recruited and built the team while meticulously assessing and scrutinising potential threats to the UK’s vaccine rollout, which was critical in ensuring the programme’s success. Throughout the 18-month period, the team provided invaluable insights across government and to commercial partners, enabling the mitigation of a diverse range of potential threats to the vaccine rollout, from its initial design to the disposal of spent vaccines.
